The TVK Choir

In 1992 the Schlitzerländer Trachten- und Volkstanzkreis was invited to Poland. In addition to folk dancing, the group was required to perform songs in church. Therefore the TVK Choir was founded and has been meeting regularly ever since. The choir was conducted by Rüdiger Holzapfel, Martin Wedler and Tatjana Prost over the course of time, before Ute Fischer took over in 2006. In November 2008 the first concert of the choir was staged under the motto "TVK concert - a musical world trip".

The songs of the choir include folk and church songs. On the occasion of the concert in 2008, numerous modern songs were also rehearsed.
