The youth group
The TVK youth group was already founded in 1976. Due to our many members the group is currently divided into two different age classes (10 to 13 years and 14 to 17 years). Our regular training is scheduled once a week in our own club house.
In addition to dancing, we love socializing and travelling to foreign festivals. During these journeys we always experience a lot and have a great time together. We conduct national meetings in Germany with Scheeßel, Cuxhaven, Laggenbeck, Finkenwerder or meetings around Europe. Trips to Poland, Belgium, Portugal, Hungary, Switzerland, Turkey and Spain will remain unforgotten. We proudly represent our tradition, our home ‘the Schlitzerland’ and our country Germany. But also leisure activities e.g. excursions in theme parks or adventure weekends are regularly carried out together.
Of course, we are also incorporated in the folklore festival ‘Schlitzerländer Trachtenfest’ and contribute to the success of the festival. During ‘Schlitzerländer Trachtenfest’ we get to know people from all over the world and make new friendships that will last a lifetime.
